  Despite the burly thermal treated alloy construction the gear4rocks ascenders weigh only 145 grams each. The cam is designed to accept ropes from 9 to 13 mm in diameter with minimal drag regardless of mud and moisture. The thumb lock release allows for one handed removal and attachment to ropes. Lower hang point and an upper carabiner hole allow for multiple jugging, hauling and self-belaying options.

  All equipment has been tested by "STANDART" the Ukrainian National Scientific-Certification Center in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Testing procedures are based on CE and UIAA standards. For Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be legally sold in Ukraine it must be tested by "STANDART." Upon your request we will scan and email you the image of the original testing certificate (Russian language).

All gear is manufactured from the highest quality materials and is assembled by qualified engineers under the supervision of experienced quality controllers.

The "strength" rated in the table is the maximum load a piece of equipment can take without sustaining damage. In the case of overload and damage it is important to retire that gear. Do not try to repair gear4rocks equipment.

As part of the gear4rocks quality control, each device is loaded to half of its maximum rating. Before it leaves the factory each device is reinspected to ensure that all components are working appropriately.

The gear4rocks links cams have passed CE certification. We will now be working through the UIAA or CE certification process for our other lines of equipment. As resources and time allows we hope to gain additional certifications for all of our gear. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to determine how long it will be before paperwork & testing processes are complete. Upon completion of CE and UIAA testing, certificates will be issued with the appropriate safety labels and the gear4rocks eBay listings and gear4rocks web site will be updated to reflect the endorsement.
